Job Description:
Summary: Examines, evaluates, and authorizes or recommends approval of customer applications for 1st Mortgage Real Estate loans, HELOC’s, and closed end second mortgages by performing the following duties.
Experience and Skills: Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Reviews, processes, closes and administers loan proposals.
Interviews applicants and requests specified information for loan applications.
Analyzes applicant financial status, credit, and property evaluation to determine feasibility of granting loan or submits application to credit analyst for verification and recommendation.
Corresponds with or interviews applicants or creditors to resolve questions regarding application information.
For any in-house loan a loan approval request is made to Sr.
Loan Committee or Sr.
Management depending upon loan amount.
Ensures loan agreements are complete and accurate according to policy.
Confers with underwriter to aid in resolving mortgage application problems.
Analyzes potential loan markets to develop prospects for loans.
Supervisory Responsibilities There are no supervisory responsibilities in this job.

Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
Other Skills and Abilities Must possess superior people skills and sales ability.
