*Residential Maintenance Technician Summary:*
Our Residential Maintenance Technicians are responsible for helping keep our properties up and running smoothly.
You will work with a tight-knit group of technicians under the supervision of our Maintenance Supervisor.

*Residential Maintenance Technician Pay & Perks:*
* Pay ranges from $18-$25 per hour
* $1,500 Sign On Bonus
* Eligible for benefits including health, dental, vision, short and long term disability and more after 60 days of employment
* Bi-weekly gas allowance
*Preferred Residential Maintenance Technician Qualifications:*
● Valid driver license & insurance
● High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
● 2-3 years experience in apartment / commercial maintenance
● Knowledge of working safety with power tools and electricity
● Knowledge of heat systems is a plus
● General knowledge of building codes and laws applicable to the community.
*Examples:*
Basic framing, drywall (hang, tape and finish), cabinetry/tops, trim/base, painting.
Basic
electrical: light fixture, ceiling fans, replace ballast, outlet, switches, wire dishwasher,
wire garbage disposal.
Basic plumbing: kitchen and bath faucets, toilet (install new or
repair).
● Position may require working on call hours, as scheduled or as necessary
Residential Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
● Receive daily work orders
● Perform on-going repair and maintenance work as requested or required
● Participate in company training classes/courses and meetings as required
● Perform all other duties assigned by property manager and/or maintenance supervisor
● Communicate daily to service provider supervisor any job requirements, materials
needed and work requiring special needs or assistance
● Purchase materials as needed for maintenance
● Utilize company forms, door hangers, manual work orders, automated work orders,
purchase orders
● Assist in tasks required to get an apartment in “make ready” condition
● Schedule and perform preventative maintenance
● Follow all company policies and procedures
● Provide outstanding customer service
