We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Leasing Specialist to join our team.
As a Leasing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in assisting prospective tenants through the leasing process and ensuring a positive experience for all stakeholders.
This position offers flexible hours and a dynamic work environment within the student housing industry.
*Responsibilities:*
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries promptly, identifying and escalating issues to the Property Manager (PM) and Leasing Manager (LM) as necessary.
- Handle email inquiries and communicate effectively with prospective tenants, reporting any issues or concerns to the PM and LM.
- Coordinate and conduct property tours throughout the week, including commercial spaces as needed.
- Greet and assist walk-in visitors, scheduling tours, addressing complaints, and handling other inquiries.
- Facilitate lease signings with prospective tenants, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete, and promptly reporting any issues to the PM and LM.
- Proactively contact prospective tenants to expedite the leasing process and maximize occupancy rates.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including light accounting work and clerical duties.
- Support the PM and LM with various tasks as needed, such as apartment checks, key management, and procurement of supplies.
- Represent the company at housing fairs and resident events, promoting our properties and engaging with prospective tenants.
- Execute parking leases for residential and commercial tenants, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Assist with key management and maintenance requests, coordinating with relevant teams to ensure timely resolution.
*Requirements:*
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in business, real estate, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in customer service, sales, or property management is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic accounting principles.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Knowledge of fair housing regulations and leasing procedures is a plus.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.
