- Evaluate and analyze loan applications to determine eligibility and creditworthiness
- Collect and review financial documents, such as tax returns, bank statements, and pay stubs
- Guide borrowers through the loan application process, explaining different loan options and terms
- Collaborate with underwriters to ensure timely and accurate loan processing
- Conduct credit analysis to assess risk and make informed lending decisions
- Prepare loan packages for submission to lenders or investors
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and changes in lending practices
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, real estate agents, and other industry professionals
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the loan process

- Strong financial sales skills with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Knowledge of escrow procedures and loan origination processes
- Proficiency in using accounting software for financial analysis and reporting
- Familiarity with various types of loans, including conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loans
- Understanding of mortgage servicing guidelines and procedures
- Ability to negotiate terms and conditions with borrowers, lenders, and other parties involved in the loan process
- Excellent credit analysis skills to assess borrower's creditworthiness
- Strong communication skills to effectively explain complex financial concepts to clients
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
