?? The Senior Facilities Manager will be based out of our centralized maintenance office in Champaign, IL.
The role will include ultimate ownership of the process and execution around the long-term physical management of our properties.
The ideal candidate will have an intimate understanding of and ability to influence all the contributing components of maximizing the physical integrity of all of our buildings.
Requirements: What will you do?? Exemplify our core values of Be Kind, Be Flexible, Own It, and Always Improve Develop our approach to long-term preventative and predictive maintenance and coordinate ongoing related activities Lead and manage a team of Facilities Project Managers, holding them accountable for their assigned responsibilities Develop and maintain location-specific processes for building safety, security, and risk management Evaluate, negotiate, and track contracted services across multiple properties to ensure contract compliance, cost savings, and facility needs are met Work with technology staff and vendors to install and maintain property technology Facilitate and supervise annual Capex inspections, budgeting, and coordinate approved projects Meet on-site with maintenance and construction personnel to lend expertise to complicated building and engineering issues Develop systems and processes for teams to effectively execute complicated maintenance work orders Work closely with peers inside and outside of the property management department including project managers and asset managers to ensure the company is maintaining assets appropriately in the short and long term Build and maintain building-related data to optimize maintenance, project, and asset management activities Develop and closely watch all facilities management leading and key performance indicators and adjust strategy and process as necessary Learn and ensure compliance with all Fair Housing Laws including local, state, and federal housing regulations (We provide training) Pivot, roll up your sleeves, and jump in where needed!
