Plant Utility-Decatur IL
This is an Hourly-Rotating Shift Position
Job Summary:
Under limited supervision (Reporting to the Maintenance Manager), performs various duties in the plant.
The duties may vary by day.
Duties may include doing sanitation, delivery of goods and equipment, operating motorized equipment such as bobcats and fork trucks, being responsible for the shop upkeep and other general tasks as designated by management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Count, weigh, and check a variety of materials that are placed into containers which are forwarded to production.
Create reports in a timely manner detailing shortages and/or damaged materials.
Ability to interact with cross-functional disciplines.
Responsible for accuracy and quality of own work.
Adhere to established company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations.
Perform other related duties as instructed by manager/supervisor.
Job Qualifications Requirements:
Knowledge/Skills/Certifications/Training:
Basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimals)
Basic computer skills (spreadsheets, word processing, CMMS usage, data entry)
Excel, word, PowerPoint etc.
Accurate data entry skills
Operate various weighing equipment
Operate forklift or other motorized equipment
Ability to follow supervisor/manager instructions
Ability to effectively communicate with supervisor/manager
Ability to use basic hand tools
Ability to work outside in extreme cold or hot temperatures.
High school diploma or GED
ADM requires the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and a background check.
