Delivery Driver/Contractor (White Box Truck)

*Responsibilities*: - Safely and efficiently operate your own 26' ft white box truck (with a two person crew) to deliver and install retail furniture and appliances at consumer residences and business locations.
- Follow preplanned delivery schedules to ensure timely, accurate and successful furniture and appliance deliveries and installations.
- Communicate with consumers, dispatchers and our retail client in a professional and courteous manner.
- Adhere to all applicable safety regulations and traffic laws while driving - Perform routine vehicle inspections and vehicle maintenance as required.
We can offer resources and referrals to help you establish any of the following contractually *required credentials*: - A active LLC or Corporation with a Federal Employer ID Number.
- Active USDOT number with interstate motor carrier authority (MC number).
-Active commericial trucking insurance policies that meet contract requirements.
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, contract motor carrier or a similar role - Ability to operate commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers, box trucks, or refrigerated trailers - Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures - Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members - Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate deliveries and documentation - Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading If you have direct or related experience in logistics, we'd love to speak to you about this home delivery business opportunity in Bloomington today.
