45/hr (plus shift premium) Yearly Pay Range: ($65k-$70k + pay diff +OT) Hourly Bonus Program.
Location: Champaign, IL, 61821 Overview We are seeking a skilled Line Mechanic to join our team at our facility in Champaign, IL.
As a Line Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing production line equipment to ensure smooth operations and minimize downtime.

Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance on production line machinery and equipment Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues to determine the root cause of problems Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems Conduct regular inspections to identify potential equipment failures and take preventive measures Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of the production line Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area Document maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections Assist in the installation and setup of new production line equipment Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Prior experience as a Line Mechanic or similar role Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment Valid driver's license Machines & technologies you'll use: Industrial Robot Manual Lathe Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) Conveyor Systems Forklifts Salary info: $32 - $34 / hr
