*Job Summary:*
The Paint Room Associate is responsible for preparing fabricated parts for powder coating in preparation for their final installation.
This position works closely with other team members that rely upon one another to meet high quality standards.
Accuracy and detail oriented are a must in this position.
*Essential Functions:*
* Wash parts and prepare parts for powder coating process by sandblasting
* Stage parts, hang and handle material.
* Utilize lift assist for heavier parts while loading and unloading parts.
* Apply powder primers & powder coating finishes.
* Inspect finished product to ensure quality standards.
* Assist in cleaning and maintenance of equipment daily.
*Job Qualifications:*
· Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
· Familiar with spray and polymer applicators, powder coating systems, and industry best practices preferred.
· Frequently lifts as much as 25 lbs.
and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
from floor, overhead, and waist level.
· Maintain regular and timely attendance.
· Perform other tasks as requested and be flexible to move to other areas on the production floor.

· Skills in organization, prioritization, and attention to detail are a must.
