Role Responsibilities
TCCI is actively expanding its shipping and receiving department by actively recruiting a Shipping and Logistics Coordinator.
The Shipping and Logistics Coordinator is a well-organized individual who will assume the responsibility of communicating shipping details to couriers.
Additionally, the Shipping and Logistics Coordinator will negotiate courier charges on behalf of our clients and monitor the progress of shipments.
To excel in this role, meticulous attention to detail is essential.
TCCI is seeking a proficient Shipping and Logistics Coordinator that can effectively manage multiple tasks daily.
Key Responsibilities
- Every day, handle multiple shipments for different clients using our computer system
- Generate required documents and labels for all outgoing packages, including but not limited to international documentation
- Utilize the Eportal/Web system to process shipping and carrier requests for clients who opt for this service
- Daily communication with diverse customers and carriers via email and/or phone to organize shipping details
- Collaborate closely with the sales team and supervisors to streamline shipment coordination
- Address any problems related to shipping documentation
- Ensure prompt and accurate filing of all completed paperwork
- Promptly prepare shipments for "Small Parts" orders according to scheduled shipping dates
- Assist in supplying the production line with materials when needed
- Assist in the loading and unloading of materials using a fork truck as required
- Perform additional tasks as delegated

- Proficient in computer skills
- Capable of maintaining regular communication with shipping vendors and adhering to a set schedule
- Proficient in basic mathematical operations
- Skilled in working both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Adept at handling tasks in high-pressure and deadline-driven situations
- Attentive to detail-oriented work
- Prompt in providing feedback to shipping vendors
- Demonstrates excellent time management abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Shipping and receiving experience: 1 year (Preferred)
- Microsoft excel: 1 year (Preferred)
- Intentional self-starter who takes initiative and proactively seeks out value-add opportunities
Education
High School Diploma or GED required
