Tool Crib Attendant

*Reports to:* Foreman *General Responsibilities* · Responsible for assisting with the production of steel vessels in a variety of tasks.
· Expected to adhere to Plant Safety Policies as written in the handout during orientation.
· Responsible for overseeing tool crib · Responsible for working with and assisting others, including Fitter and other team members by providing them the resources of consumables and small tools.
*Specific Responsibilities* · Complete all required paperwork and documentation in a timely manner · Maintain and repair to keep company tools in good working order · Repair electrical cords as needed · Maintain an organized tool crib · Check all consumables and tools in and out as fitter/welders need items · Ability to learn plant practices · Complete weekly tool crib inventory *Key Interfaces* · Communicates and coordinates daily work with Plant Foreman and Laborer Team Lead · Communicates with welder and/or fitter as needed to supply their consumables *Qualifications* · Demonstrated work habits including punctuality & dependability · Ability to work in a fast-paced environment · Ability to follow detailed oral instructions · Physical capability for requirements of job · Ability to read a tape measure effectively · Previous experience with basic electrical and hand tool repair a plus · Basic Mechanical knowledge a plus Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $17.
