cross-country ski-style exerciser with calorie/distance/time display better than walking because: with this machine there is no pounding joint impact(painful for some) exercise where you want, when you want, how you want(judgement-free) no dealing with crazy drivers and crazy dogs(not to mention other joggers/walkers) as with all exercise and all equipment, you get out of it what you put in it (it looks simple and easy when they do it on television but it IS definitely a workout if you put the time into it) these are usually on ebay for around $75-$95 used we'd like to have $20.
