How you can make an impact:
We are seeking a motivated and organized BD Market Analyst Intern.
Under the guidance of the Business Development Utilities Manager, the intern will gain great insight into the utility industry and gain skills such as research techniques and operating in a corporate setting.
Qualifications:
Job Responsibilities
Provide support to overall business development efforts.
Shadowing of BD associates and managers to learn the roles and responsibilities of each and the importance EPE places on the focus of client
Participation in internal and external meetings, including conferences, internal planning meetings and client meetings.
Research, analyze and make recommendations for BD based on client research of the utility market.
Provide information to BD associates to grow and maintain business relationships by identifying potential clients.
Learn to utilize Salesforce while documenting and updating business opportunities.
Bring your passion, here's what’s needed:
Undergraduate student at a four-year university seeking internship opportunities in business development, communication, or marketing.
Maintain excellent customer and inter-company relationships.
Showcase strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Showcase detail and attention in repetitive items.
Self-motivated with a strong drive and sense of urgency
Ability to effectively handle multiple assignments/project components simultaneously
Location:
This internship position is a 12-week program (5/20/2024 to 8/9/2024) and 40 hours a week.
Based on performance and company need, this intern can continue part-time employment during the fall.
The position is in Champaign, IL.
