The Talent Management Generalist will report to the Director of Talent Management and be accountable for assisting in all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
This includes recruiting, onboarding, talent management, compliance and HR administration.
Based in our corporate office in Champaign, IL, the ideal candidate will have a customer service-oriented mindset and be passionate about attracting, recruiting, and retaining the best talent while contributing to a unique and amazing workplace.
What will you do? Exemplify our core values of Be Kind, Be Flexible, Own It and Always Improve Execute on full cycle recruitment items including posting vacancies via the optimal channels, screening applications, scheduling and conducting interviews and preparing and sending job offers Collaborate with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria, researching and recommending salary ranges and incentives Own the HR-related onboarding checklists for new employees, tracking them to timely completion Oversee new hire orientations including managing scheduling, coordinating with internal teams and conducting orientation Identify efficiencies and improvements needed in our HR process and work with others to implement and train hiring managers Increase existing team member engagement through check-ins, survey administration, event planning and team building activities Promote company culture and vision through training, organization and attendance of team events.
Coordinate onsite and virtual events, manage vendors, budget and travel needs Assist in employee relations matters by being a trusted resource for employees and the company, using strong professional discretion with confidentiality and sensitive information Provide exceptional customer service internally and externally, serving as a model to others within our organization Assist with additional aspects of Human Resources including benefits administration, training and safety Learn and ensure compliance with all Fair Housing Laws including local, state, and federal housing regulations (We provide training) Pivot, roll up your sleeves and jump in where needed!
