5 years ago i rescued a red earred slider named lettuce from an acquaintance who housed them in a 2.
5gal aquarium without any UVB.
The turtle is likely stunted due to this and hasn't grown much since owning them.
They come with a 40Gal aquarium, a small filter (I may have a larger more adequate filter as well than can be included if wanted), a heat light, uvb light, led day light, water conditioner, a long siphon for water changes, a floating dock, and plenty of wood to provide enrichment.
The turtle does require semi-frequent water changes.
I would recommend a 50% water change once a week, but a 75% water change at least every two weeks otherwise.
Advice on what to feed for a balanced diet can be discussed as well if you need.
Lastly, the tank has algae on the walls which I can clean before pickup.
small rehoming fee of $40 which can be waived if you have experience with turtle care or have researched turtle care.
