Jeremy Youse, MD, chief medical officer and founding partner of VitalSkin Dermatology, is seeking a dedicated physician assistant or nurse practitioner who is professional, dependable, adaptable and eager to learn under direct physician supervision.
Throughout his career in central Illinois, Dr.
Youse has become a clinical expert with a large patient following.
He’s also a premier Mohs surgeon, with a fellowship from Mayo Clinic and the renowned American College of Mohs Surgery.
Alongside Dr.
Youse and his highly-trained team, you’ll assist with providing general dermatology services for a growing patient base.
You’ll join a state-of-the-art practice with cutting-edge technology, including Modernizing Medicine – a top ranked, specialty-specific EHR and engagement tool.
This full-time position complements the overseeing provider's schedule, which includes clinic hours in Urbana and Gibson City.

Specific Responsibilities
Perform a variety of general dermatology procedures under physician supervision.
Communicate changes in patient conditions to physician.
Establish and maintain interpersonal relationships with patients, families and other healthcare personnel, while assuring confidentiality of patient information.
Demonstrate proficiency and graduated autonomy within scope of general dermatology practice over the course of several months.
Record patient’s health history in electronic medical record system.
Clinic locations in Urbana and Gibson City.
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree from accredited PA program.
Or if an NP, be a registered nurse (RN), hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), have completed an NP-focused graduate master’s or doctoral nursing program and have successfully passed a national NP board certification exam.
Minimum two years of experience as a physician assistant or nurse practitioner in a dermatology clinic.
PA/NP licensure in the state where employed.
Must have prescriptive authorization.
Must be proficient with medical instruments and equipment required by the work.
Communicate effectively, in verbal and written form, with medical partners at various levels, patients, family members, physicians and representatives of the community.
Sound understanding of all federal and state regulations including HIPAA and OSHA.
Be positive, open and flexible to learning new skills for various procedures.
Maintain license through ongoing continuing medical education credits as required.
Preferred Qualifications
Cosmetic dermatology experience.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting/standing and working at a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15lbs at times.
