Trade Execution Specialist – ADM Rice- Decatur, IL
This is a full-time, exempt position.
Main Responsibilities: Execution of vessel related transactions for container and vessel shipments Execution of commodity purchases and sales from inception to finalization including documentary instructions, vessel nominations and tenders Provide clear communication to divisional employees, overseas agents, receivers, port agents and inspection companies on related transactions Track related execution payables and receivables and provide updates to interested parties Accurately process invoices Data entry of all related execution insurance information Handle all basic vessel settlement procedures in conjunction with accounting settlement group Responsible for filing and maintaining execution related documents Skills: Minimum 5 years of experience in international shipping related business Experience in grain settlement related transactions Experience in a/r settlement and application a plus Experience in global rice or grain business Strong communication skills Fluency in English a must Detail oriented in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated, focused and takes initiative with accurate results Additional Qualifications: Self-motivated, results-driven, and willing to take initiative Detail oriented in a fast-paced environment Diversified and flexible A team oriented individual with proven track record Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): vessel documentary instruction timeframe and document turnaround time to/from suppliers / customer / banks Invoice processing time for execution related payments Payment processing time and follow up for execution related payments Cross-Functional Interaction: Working with divisional trade, and other divisional execution personnel as necessary Working with ADM Credit and Compliance groups as necessary Working with commercial management and Finance as necessary to evaluate and explain trade settlement transactions and exposures Excited about this role but don’t meet every requirement listed?
