Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare, print, and sort bills of lading for shipping
Prepare Customs paperwork including commercial invoices for shipments to Canada
Photograph international shipments prior to shipping
Communicate with Customer Service and provide information as requested including copies of packing slips or delivery receipts and tracking numbers
Communicate with carriers and provide copies of bills of lading as needed
Investigate claims of shortages/overages by communicating with carriers, Customer Service, and Accounts Receivables and provide paperwork for credit memos as needed
Provide paperwork and documents as needed
Prepare shipping documents for transfer to storage
Track manpower weight averages
Assist Shipping Manager and Shipping Supervisor when required
Order supplies for Shipping Department
Required Experience and/or Education:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Effectively work in a team

Demonstrated ability to follow and challenge Standard Work processes
Technologically flexible
Strong organizational skills
Ability to identify roadblocks in material/information flow and manage exceptions

High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years’ general work experience
