As a Mechanic, you will disassemble, inspect, and rebuild rotating equipment, specifically Pumps.
The job may involve pipe fitting, manual machine work, material handling, measurements, vibration analysis, electrical work, laser alignment, installation, and system analysis.
Primary hours for this role will be 7am to 3:30pm, Monday - Friday.
Responsibilities:
Repair and rebuild of rotating equipment in the shop and at customer sites.
Serve as a representative for installation and commissioning of repaired equipment.
Vibration data collection and analysis utilizing the latest technologies.
Perform laser alignments
Field work performing on-site alignment and balancing functions
Perform other duties as required
Skills Required:
High school education, or equivalent required;
Minimum of 1-year hands-on experience with mechanical repair/troubleshooting required; previous experience with industrial rotating equipment is a plus
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
Ability to read and understand dimensional drawings, exploded view drawings, and cut section drawings.
Ability to complete required safety training classes and comply with OSHA, MSHA, or any authority having jurisdiction
Must be able to work with minimal supervision
Must be willing to work overtime or on call to satisfy customer requests
Able to travel to other locations for temporary assignments, meetings, and training involving some overnight travel required.
Highly motivated with interpersonal skills to effectively work in a collaborative team environment that includes shared responsibilities, establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with others, supporting team and company objectives, and a willingness to work in all areas required by the team.
