Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)

Piatt County Nursing Home is currently seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON).
The role is a leadership position within the nursing department and encompasses a wide range of responsibilities.
This position will report directly to the Director of Nursing.
Job Expectations for Assistant Director of Nursing include but are not limited to: * Nursing evaluation of residents.
* Assist in monitoring job performance and supports new employees in training and orientation.
* Assist with hiring and disciplinary process of staff.
* Assist DON in the management of Ancillary Nurses * Assume DON responsibilities when needed * Maintains quality resident care by enforcing nursing home policy.
* Assists with implementation of new nursing policy.
* Holds in-service programs to ensure staff is meeting continuing education requirements.
* Any other tasks as assigned by the Director of Nursing.
