We are looking for an entry level Director of Wellness to join our team at Decatur!

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
Supports the philosophy, mission, commitment, vision and values of Randall Residence.
Directly oversee the delivery of care to Assisted Living residents to ensure that emotional, physical, psychological and safety needs are met through all program services and activities.
Assesses and documents the resident's condition and nursing needs.
Accurately and promptly implements physicians' orders.
Administer medications, perform treatments for assigned residents, and documents that treatment as required by Randall Residence, and local, state and federal rules and regulations.
Participates in orientation and in-service training for personnel.
Assist physicians with special tests and procedures within the scope of state specified Nursing Practice Act.
Ensures that supplies are utilized economically and that equipment is clean and maintained in a safe manner.
Reports and records pertinent observations and reactions regarding Community Members.
Coordinates nursing care of Community Members when scheduled for therapy or procedures by other departments.
All other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess a current and active license to practice as an LPN or Registered Nurse in IL
Minimum of 1 year experience in nursing management
Experience in supervision and principles, practice of teaching, etc.
Must possess critical thinking skills to address clinical issues
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
At least two years experience in long-term care facility
