GENERAL DESCRIPTION/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Based at the Anita Purves Nature Center and Friendship Grove Nature Playscape, Preschool Nature Camp Leaders work together to plan and co-lead daily programs from 8am-noon for children ranging in age from 3-5 years.
Leaders are trained and supervised by the Nature Camp Supervisor, Assistant Supervisor and the Environmental Public Program Coordinator.
Nature Camp includes nine weeklong sessions, each session focusing on different environmental themes.
Weekly activities include nature play, hikes, hands-on exploration, water play time, active games and crafts.
Leaders are responsible for the safety of all campers, developing activity plans, meeting camp objectives, working within a budget, and communicating with adult guardians
