The Music Shoppe is searching for a dynamic and results-oriented Store Manager to oversee all aspects of our Champaign location.
As a key member of our management team, you'll be responsible for driving sales, building a strong team culture, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
*Responsibilities:*
* Lead and develop a high-performing team by providing coaching, training, and performance feedback.
* Cultivate a positive and professional work environment that fosters customer satisfaction.
* Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to company policies.
* Manage inventory effectively, including maintaining stock levels and making recommendations for new products to meet the needs of the customer.
* Assist the marketing department in development and implementation marketing efforts
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and community partners.
* Represent The Music Shoppe with a high level of professionalism and integrity.
*Qualifications:*
* 3+ years of retail experience, with management experience preferred.
* Background in music strongly preferred.
* Proven ability to motivate and lead a team.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
* Proficient in computer software commonly used in retail environments.
Experience with Google Workspace and AIM Point of Sale preferred.
* Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and occasional overtime.
