Houlihan’s™ Restaurant + Bar is seeking an Assistant General Manager to perform the following duties and has the following qualities and qualifications:
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Manage logistical aspects of front of house operations; communicates, motivates and drives performance of staff
Supervise staff, including developing weekly schedules, and coaching to Four-Diamond standards.
Execute and oversee local store marketing efforts for the restaurant
Proactively identify staffing needs, recruit and select quality employees
Ensure that all training programs are being administered properly, oversees implementation, utilizing Houlihan’s corporate resources
Ensure BOH resources, systems and tools are being used appropriately, adhere to all standards
Ensures a sales mentality throughout the restaurant and implements new initiatives/menu items/specials, tracks and reports results and success
Ensure excellent quality and presentation of food
Monitor ticket times & cook’s line movement; evaluate systems for optimal execution
Anticipate guest problems and issues; take necessary action to resolve conflicts
Monitor labor, food, and liquor cost.
Proactively find ways to reduce restaurant spend
Demonstrate a passion for and working knowledge of food, liquor, beer and wine
Insistent upon delivering outstanding guest experiences
Assist in training and display hands on approach in leadership in all the areas of the facility
Update job knowledge by participating in and directing educational and training opportunities
Take disciplinary action in conjunction with the President/GM and HR when necessary
Assist in other departments as necessary

Salary: $50,000.
