Lenovo ThinkPad T410s configuration 2912BT6 in north Urbana.
I have made a few upgrades from the original 2912BT6 configuration, notably loading it up with 8GB of quality RAM and replacing the original slow-as-dirt 1.
8" drive with a modern mSATA solid state drive that lets this thing actually live its best life.

(The T410 and T420 were some of the final T-series ThinkPads with a “real keyboard” before Lenovo moved to the “chiclet keyboard” ca.
the T430 model introduction.
It is still an incredible pleasure to type on this keyboard and, in my old fart opinion / as an owner of several newer ThinkPads since, they never, ever should have switched.

- Panasonic-made removable battery showing 96% of factory capacity (this is probably a fib, but it does seem to hold charge no problem for at least 2-3 hours of unplugged use)
There is a hairline crack on left edge of palmrest - no flexing, opening/closing or structural issues presented due to the underlying metal chassis frame.
Check photos; note that you need flash to even see this crack.
Very clean shape otherwise, screen hinges intact and clean.
Comes with power supply and a ThinkPad Mini Dock Series 3 type 4337.
Running Linux Mint XFCE Edition, one of the best “beginner’s Linuxes” for folks used to Windows - it is running super swiftly and smoothly on this machine.
(Machine originally shipped with Win7, which is no longer supported.
It should run Win10 no problems too, but Win11 is probably out.
I do not have a Win10 license for this machine.

I’ve had this particular Thinkpad T410s in my personal collection since 2016 and it has seen very light, largely docked use in that time.
I would not recommend this older machine for video editing / AAA-title gaming or anything like that, but for just about anything else / as a very rugged casual use computer with an amazing and inspiring keyboard, it's frankly still a steal.
