CURRENTLY SEEKING A WAREHOUSE/PACKAGE LOADER CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI This position, receives, stores, and distributes material, equipment and products within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.
Efficient selecting, handling and loading/unloading products of various sizes, weight and packaging is a primary function in this position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Assist shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, checking in product corresponding to BOL’s.
Read customer work orders to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed and/or shipped.
Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code.
Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for salespeople and customer traffic.
Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, to relocate orders to a holding area.
Mark materials with identifying information on row cards.
Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed on work orders and BOL’s.
Operates fork trucks/electric pallet jacks/shrink wrap machine in a safe matter.
Inspects machinery operating to ensure safe operation.
Report any unsafe machinery conditions to Warehouse Supervisor.
Report any unsafe conditions to Warehouse Supervisor.
Report any type of accident or injury of any kind to Warehouse Supervisor.
Apply professionalism and respect to co-workers.
Provide outstanding service to customers (internal & external) and vendors.
Assist in counting of physical inventory.
Weigh and count items for distribution to ensure conformance to company standards.
May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed.
Sweep, dust and mop, organize warehouse and work area for orderliness.
Work in a safe manner.
Wear the proper safety equipment.
Follow all company policies and procedures.

However, the summer months are not climate controlled, therefore, being quite hot and humid.
There is exposure to the outdoors during the workday.
There could possibly be exposure to fumes, airborne particles or toxic chemicals and vibration.
The noise level will vary depending on the location that operations are taking place.
All necessary PPE (Hard Hat, Eye/Ear Protections, etc.
) is provided to the employee.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk and hear.
The employee is constantly required to use hands and fingers to feel, handle or operate machinery, tools or controls and reach with hands and arms.
The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, couch, crawl and walk.
The employee must maneuver 550 lb.
drums of product off or onto pallets.
Employee must frequently lift and/or move packages that weigh up to 100 lbs.
Specific vision abilities required for this job include vision, distant vision, peripheral vision, color vision and the ability to focus.
