This position is responsible for the administrative support of day-to-day Human Resources duties to include, file maintenance, assist with new employee orientation, responsible for maintenance of confidential employee files, personnel actions, maintain computer employee data information, time-card maintenance and payroll submission, answer telephones, verify employment status and assist with special projects.
Essential Functions
* Collect and enter new hire and maintenance employment information
* Ensure all timekeeping information is collected in a timely manner
* Deliver orientation program to all newly hired employees
* Assist with quarterly and yearly assessment completion
* Initiate background checks
* Maintain employment verifications
* Maintain employee electronic files regularly.
* Monitor Workman’s Compensation protocol
* Verify and maintain I-9 and EEO documentation.
* Manage the hiring process; to include posting/closing job requisitions, scheduling interviews, ensuring proper completion of on-boarding process
* Order and maintain Employee Uniform program
* Promote Employee Engagement opportunities
* Prepare and Distribute employee reports as required
* Other duties as assigned
* Monitor Insurance eligibility and ensure employees are reached in a timely manner
* Assist with 401k responsibilities
Qualifications
* Ability to understand HR and business requirements for recruitment and translate those into prioritized, executable HR technology solutions
* Ability to effectively communicate and work with management both within and outside of HR
* Ability to develop / maintain strong business relationships
* Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills
* Strong knowledge of recruitment solutions to identify areas for optimization
* Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills
* Proven project management experience; ability to balance multiple initiatives and project timelines and prioritize responsibilities
* Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training

Pay: $16.
