Additional Duties: Assist with design, support, and implementation of redundant systems throughout the organization.
Provide day-to-day system assistance, configuration and support for a Cisco UC based environment.
Provide technical support for Unified Communications environments throughout the organization.
Assist with day-to-day configuration and support for a Cisco based data network.
Disaster Recovery Testing, will be working with multiple departments in planning and testing disaster recovery plans.
Maintain documentation and procedures for IT systems, ensuring that they meet company standards.
Assist with upgrades on a clustered Cisco Unity, CUCM, UCCX, and IM&P environment.
Ensure proper design and configuration standards are met for Video Room systems.
Perform audits to ensure proper notifications, configuration, and optimization of systems; provide security related remediation actions as issues arise.
Participate in the design of future state Unified Communication systems, taking the lead on researching new opportunities.
Develop relationships with internal departments to foster better workflow and great system results.
Maintain relationships with vendors for services related to UC systems.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING Knowledge of: Strong oral and written communication skills Unified Communications infrastructure Network design, configuration, and troubleshooting skills OSI model and how it relates to the design and deployment of structured networks Ability to: Take independent action within established options and develops new procedures and approaches to problems when necessary Analyze assignments based on a wide knowledge of many factors where application of advanced or technical concepts are required Maintain visual attention and mental concentration for extended periods of time Perform duties and make decisions under frequent time pressures EDUCATION AND TRAINING Requires Associates degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
Requires two or more years’ experience in data networking and unified communications, including knowledge of TCP/IP, UC Collaboration and working hands-on experience with Cisco UC environment.
Requires 2 or more years hands-on experience configuring Cisco routers, switches, and related network equipment (IOS, IOS-XE, NX-OS).
