Oversees district human resource processes.
Designs and implements efficient systems to ensure compliance with state and federal laws.

Assists in the implementation of Board Policy, bargaining agreements, benefit eligibility requirements, and federal and state laws, statute and regulations, including but not limited to COBRA, FMLA, and Section 125 Plan.

Oversees and coordinates all documentation for new district employees, designs systems to ensure completion of all required documentation.

Maintains all employee personnel files.

Track attendance for all district personnel; monitor and review staff requests for personal, vacation and other days.

Annually, prepare working agreements for all non-certified staff; prepare teacher’s salary and service credit information for certified staff; prepare coaching contracts.

Set up building access through key fobs for all new employees.
* Responsible for adding all new employees to systems by requesting computer logins, Google, Skyward, Teacherease, Google, Frontline, etc.
* Process all insurance changes; act as liaison between employees and insurance carriers, and as necessary, between employees and health care providers.
Facilitates COBRA upon termination of employment.
* Receive all unemployment claims, acting on them as necessary; when necessary, attend unemployment hearings as a representative of the district.
* Handle all workers’ compensation claims, filing reports, and directing employees on procedures involved with workers’ compensation.
* Coordinate background checks for prospective employees - fingerprinting and Faith's law.
* Coordinate new employee health insurance requests.
* Enroll students into homebound instruction as needed and act as homebound instruction liaison.
* Create custom forms for data collection and state reporting.
* Complete state reports such as transportation as assigned by the Superintendent.
* Complete the year-end rollover and new year start-up procedures for student management and food service.
* Annually update school fees, set up Teacherease for tracking the payment of school fees, and set up the online payment system for the collection of the fees.
* Cross train on other duties as determined by the Superintendent.
* Other duties as assigned by the Superintendent.
