The Wholesale Bread Mixer is responsible for working with the Bakery Manager, ensuring the standard of doughs mixed is met as well as ensuring the flow of the mixing corner continues throughout the day.
This individual needs to have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below but are not limited to.
General Responsibilities:
* Works daily with team to prepare all requested items from scratch.
Items include a variety of breads, pretzels, and croissants.
* Sets up, maintains, and breaks down stations according to food operation guidelines, displaying excellent safety and sanitation skills.
* Use our bakery software to schedule production and print recipes.
* Measure and weigh flour and other ingredients by recipe to prepare dough using scales or graduated containers.
* Combine measured ingredients in bowls of mixing, blending, or cooking machinery.
* Set time and speed controls for mixing machines to ensure ingredients will be mixed according to instructions.
* Check the quality of raw materials to ensure that standards and specifications are met.
* Check equipment to ensure that it meets health and safety regulations, and perform maintenance or cleaning, as necessary.
* Maintains accurate counts on all food items prepared, to ensure no discrepancies with orders.
* Complies with all company safety and risk management policies.
* May perform other duties and responsibilities.
