hosts a summer camp program in Champaign, IL, and we're looking for an enthusiastic person to join us as a full-time Lead Summer Camp Teacher!
This isn't your average seasonal teaching job - it's an opportunity to make magical memories, unleash your creativity, and guide the lives of six- to twelve-year-olds.
You get to go on daily field trips and participate in fun activities while earning $18.
00 - $19.
00/hour, depending on experience.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
21+ years old
Ability to create lesson plans for school-age children
Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to drive our small 12-passenger bus
Willingness to obtain a physical and TB test before employment start date
You also need to meet at least one of these criteria:
60+ hours of college credit with 6+ hours in early childhood education or child development
30+ hours of college credit with 6+ hours in early childhood education or child development AND 1+ years of experience in a licensed daycare
Ability to obtain a CDA certificate
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY
This teaching position starts working Thursday, May 23rd (or sooner if you're available).
Our summer camp begins Tuesday, May 28th and runs for 11 weeks until Friday, August 9th.
We need someone who can work through the whole program.
Every day as our Lead Summer Camp Teacher brings new challenges and unforgettable experiences.
Your schedule is jam-packed with fun activities, educational field trips, and opportunities to leave a lasting impression on children.
Whether you're in the classroom or on your daily field trip, you work with your assistant teacher to keep the kids engaged and behaving appropriately.
You oversee snack time, encourage participation, and inform parents about their child's day.
