After School Care Assistant

Position Summary: To assist the after-school care supervisor with monitoring and caring for JCS elementary students during the extended academic school day.
Responsibilities: The position of the after-school care assistant would assist the after-school care supervisor by: Checking students in for after-school care (ASC) Monitoring students on the playground/or in other locations Preparing after-school snacks (provided) Engaging with students Assisting with sign-out procedures when parents arrive for pick up Qualifications: A member and regular attendee in good standing of a Christ-centered church Demonstrate spiritual maturity with leadership abilities that will allow him/her “in humility to consider others better than him/herself” Reflect the purpose and mission of the school in word and deed both while at school and in the community Willingness to work as a fellow member of a team Flexible and able to multi-task efficiently Working Hours: This is a part-time position.
The hours are 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm during academic school days.
There is no ASC during celebrated holidays, parent-teacher conferences, or teacher in-service days.
