*Sign On Bonus of $3,500 for DCFS Qualified Directors:* Responsibilities: - Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in the daycare - Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum to promote child development - Supervise and engage children in educational and recreational activities - Monitor children's behavior and implement behavior management strategies when necessary - Ensure the health and safety of all children in the daycare - Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns - Collaborate with other daycare staff to create a positive and supportive environment Skills: - Experience working with children, preferably in a daycare or preschool setting - Knowledge of childhood development and age-appropriate activities - Ability to provide first aid and respond to emergencies - Strong classroom management skills to maintain a structured and organized environment - Understanding of special education needs and ability to accommodate diverse learning styles - Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues - Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
