Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime, mealtime, and naptime
- Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through educational and interactive activities
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns
- Ensure the daycare facility is clean, organized, and meets all safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children in a daycare, classroom, babysitting, or nannying setting
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
- Strong classroom management skills to create a structured and positive learning environment
- Ability to effectively communicate with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate's or bachelor's degree in early childhood education is a plus)
