Childcare Provider

We are looking for nurturing individuals to care for young children in our nursery during church services at 9:30 and 11:15 on Sunday mornings.
You will primarily be responsible for little ones aged 0-3, but will also supervise older children at times.
Regular hours are 8:45-12:30 Sunday mornings.
*Responsibilities* * Provide basic care and caregiving activities * Remain in communication with parents and update them on the progress of their children * Observe children’s interactions and promote a safe, fun, and healthy environment for all children, including children with disabilities * Identify behavioral issues and determine the right course of action * Collaborate and communicate with other colleagues * Complete and follow required trainings, including Illinois Mandated Reporter, Bloodborne Pathogens, First Aid, and Antiracism training *Skills* * Experience as a babysitter / child care / daycare provider * Knowledge of child development * Patience, flexibility and love for children * Strong communication and time management skills * Training in first aid/CPR a plus, but not required Job Type: Part-time Pay: $16.
