The PreK Teacher is responsible for managing the classroom and carrying out a developmentally appropriate educational program to meet the individual needs of each child and Illinois Early Learning Standards.
An important role of the PreK Teacher is to provide leadership for our students and by creating a positive learning environment where Head Start children gain the skills, knowledge, and attitudes that lead to future school success.

*Minimum Qualifications:*
* Ability to fulfill all DCFS requirements, including a physical and criminal background check
* Illinois Early Childhood Professional Educator License (EC PEL)
* Experience with preschool children preferred
* Ability to lift children
* Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
* Ability to practice inclusivity and civility at all times.
