Position Overview:
As a Travel Advisor, you will be responsible for assisting clients in planning and booking their dream vacations, from start to finish.
You will leverage your expertise in destinations, accommodations, transportation, and activities to create custom itineraries that meet each client's unique preferences and budget.
Additionally, you will stay up-to-date on industry trends and travel regulations to provide accurate and timely information to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Consult with clients to understand their travel preferences, needs, and budget constraints.
Research destinations, accommodations, transportation options, and activities to create personalized travel itineraries.
Book flights, hotels, tours, and other travel services on behalf of clients, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Provide recommendations and advice to clients regarding travel destinations, activities, and attractions.
Communicate with clients via phone, email, and in-person meetings to provide ongoing support and assistance before, during, and after their trips.
Stay informed about industry trends, travel advisories, and destination-specific regulations to ensure compliance and safety for clients.
Collaborate with team members to optimize processes and enhance the overall client experience.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a similar role within the travel industry is not required.
High School Diploma required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
Training in using travel booking systems and software is provided.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
