Christie Clinic's department of Learning & Development is seeking a full-time Learning & Development Assistant at the University clinic in Champaign from Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.
The Learning & Development Assistant is responsible for the clerical and administrative duties related to the delivery of organizational development programs.
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Physical demands include sitting, standing, bending, stooping and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Hearing within normal range, vision correctable to 20/20 and manual dexterity for the operation of office equipment is required.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work occurs in a normal office environment.
Work may be stressful and involve dealing with a variety of individuals.
JOB DUTIES: (This list may not include all of the duties assigned.

Provide general administrative assistance to the Training & Organizational Development Manager and trainers for all development programs.
Provide administrative support for development events and programs, such as coordinating details with instructors, scheduling and advertising events, enrolling team members, preparing materials, and communicating post-course information for development events.
Assist in the scheduling and advertising of development events.
Coordinate details with instructors.
Ensure that venues are booked and ready for development sessions.
Process enrollments and answer routine inquiries regarding courses, schedules, and locations.
Send pre-course information, reminders, and post-course information to participants.
Assist in the development and printing of educational materials.
Track and maintain team member attendance records.
Coordinate HealthStream assignments for orientation and annual compliance.
Maintain the Christie Clinic Library.
Update and maintain department websites as well as handle requests to marketing to add events to the internal website (the Beacon).
Handle any other task associated with organizing and scheduling development sessions.
Perform related work as required.
