Purpose of Position
Analyze financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
Report to management regarding the finances of the company.
Establish tables of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts.
Perform all related cost accounting activities.
Manage fixed asset acquisitions, dispositions, and related reporting.
Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology.
Analyze budgets and prepare periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
Provide assistance for auditing activities.
Provide support to Project Managers.
Maintain project warranty recordkeeping.
Prepare departmental labor reports, including monthly production hours report.
Assist Accounting Clerks as needed.
Prepare monthly reconciliation of General Ledger account.
Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, preferred
Minimum Experience
2+ years of experience in Accounting, preferred
