Position: Shop Office Coordinator
This is an hourly position.
Relocation assistance is not available with this position.

*Position Summary: *Performs clerical and analytical functions related to equipment maintenance.
Will also communicate with drivers and vendors to keep the maintenance department organized, compliant, and efficient.
*Job Responsibilities:*
* Process all purchase and work orders for internal and outside repairs
* Answer incoming driver calls related to equipment breakdowns and assist driver with routing to nearest vendor solution
* Review notes from previous night and weekend dispatch teams to ensure all maintenance-related driver issues have been resolved
* Maintain and ensure compliance on all vehicle inspection reports
* Manage equipment breakdowns and communicate status with multiple departments
* Coordinate with shop floor when drivers arrive for maintenance
* Follow-up with drivers after repairs to gauge satisfaction and address any subsequent concerns with a commitment to improve the driver experience
* Maintain equipment database
* Customer service, filing, and other duties as assigned
*Job Qualifications:*
* High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
* General transportation equipment knowledge
* Ability to communicate via phone and email effectively and professionally with all levels of the organization and outside parties
* 1-2+ years of Microsoft Office experience
* Organizational skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
*Physical Requirements:*
* Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time
* Ability to operate a telephone and computer/keyboard for prolonged periods of time
* Ability to climb stairs occasionally to reach the main office
* Ability to travel between indoor and outdoor settings
* Ability to wear proper safety gear/PPE as needed
* Ability to bend and/or kneel occasionally to complete filing
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $15.
00 per hour
