If these values resonate with you, we invite you to join our team! *JOB SUMMARY: *To effectively and efficiently administer the school in an effort to maximize the educational benefits, which will accrue to those who receive services, provided by the school.
Responsible for the day to day of running the school and supervising all teachers, volunteers, and staff of the school.
Role will entail a combination of being an educator, administration, leadership, community liaison, and management.
As Senior Administrator, you will have an administrative assistant and serve as ex officio on the school Board.
*QUALIFICATIONS:* *Education:* * A master’s degree or higher, with a major in educational administration.
* A valid Illinois license in the field of school administration.
* At least three (3) years successful experience as a classroom teacher at the appropriate level.
* Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may require.
* Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university, with certification and endorsements.
*OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:* * Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
* Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in regard to student/staff records.
* Ability to work effectively and efficiently with different personnel.
* Strong public relations skills and ability to interact and communicate professionally and effectively with people from a diversity of backgrounds.
* Comprehensive knowledge of principles and practices of modern education and ability to apply them to the needs of the school.
* Comprehensive knowledge of current curriculum and instructional practices and trends.
* Ability to plan and organize effectively.
* Ability to plan and supervise the work of others.
* Ability to develop effective working relationships with students, staff and the school community.
* Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
* Knowledge of various evaluation tools.
* Knowledge of state and local policies and procedures.
* Skills in recruitment, selection, induction, and assignment of personnel.
* Skills in maintaining effective discipline.
* Ability to plan and conduct faculty meetings.
* Ability to evaluate staff effectively.
* Ability to manage fiscal resources.
* Physical mobility, dexterity, strength and visual acuity to meet student needs, deal with student problems and assist with building maintenance problems and school ground monitoring activities.
*TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:* * Must be eligible to work in the United States * 50% tuition discount for your children.
* Salary is dependent on experience.
* 12 month employee with Paid Time Off Job Type: Full-time Pay: $40,000.
