AGCO is seeking a talented, passionate, and highly motivated professional to join the Finance team as an Operations Controller.
The ideal candidate will provide financial review, analysis, and support to the Director of Finance NA.
This position will also identify and implement process improvements, in particular the area of manufacturing, purchasing, engineering and financial scorecards.
Your Impact
Manage the forecasts and annual budget process for US Operations preparing reports and presentations for leaderships review
Serve as a Business Partner to the Operations Director including cost and inventory and capex management
Partner with Purchasing and Logistics organizations to track purchasing costs and savings and freight revenue and costs
Manage the preparation of the manufacturing financial packet and presentations for the monthly, quarterly and annual reviews
Provide variance analysis and explanation compared to rolling forecasts, official forecasts and budget on a monthly basis
Supporting the general accounting group during internal and external audits
Identify and implement process improvements, in particular the area of data management, forecasts and budget tools, scorecards and provide meaningful analysis and support for projects, ad hoc requests, and other duties as assigned
Your Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
MBA or CPA is a plus for the position
10+ years of previous experience in similar financial role with direct report responsibilities
Strong managerial and communication skills required
SAP, OneStream or similar accounting consolidation software
Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
Prior experience with other Manufacturing organizations
