The Billing Support Specialist plays a key role in the day-to-day operation of Royse + Brinkmeyer Apartments.
The successful candidate will have a comprehension of basic accounting practices and strong organizational and communication skills.
As part of our accounting team, the Billing Support Specialist logs daily work orders, processes timesheets, and generates billing.
Other responsibilities include managing inventory parts and products, including receiving and recording new items in the stock room(s).
Duties and Responsibilities
* Bills labor and materials used to maintain all assets
* Works with the Director of Maintenance to create daily “boards” for maintenance employees and teams
* Assigns work orders as they are received and deploys maintenance techs
* Maintains parts inventory for various departments
* Researches costs, and orders inventory and supplies
* Calculates receivable bills
* Orders and tracks tools, parts, appliances, and other inventory items
* Responds to requests for orders from various departments
* Maintains parts area in a neat and efficient manner
* Checks out inventory
* Reports discrepancies between physical stock and computer records
* Provides administrative support for Director of Finance, Maintenance, and Facilities
* Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Continuous bending, crouching, reaching, repetitive motions, standing and moving about the entire workday
* Occasional heavy lifting
* Ability to sit for long periods of time
Qualifications
* Must be at least 18 years of age and earned a High School Diploma or the equivalent
* Must possess a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and valid auto insurance
* Experience with use of multi-line phone
* Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Suite
* Excellent organizational, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
* Highly motivated with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
* Excellent attention to detail
* Ability to solve complex problems by reviewing relevant information and developing or evaluating available options
* Trustworthy and ethical
* Prior experience in the warehouse environment preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $43,680.
