Job Title: WIC Competent Professional Authority (CPA)
Minimum Qualifications:Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist which includes a non-registered nutritionist/dietitian who has a Bachelors or Master's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Community Nutrition, or Public Health Nutrition OR Registered Nurse.

s have experience or course work in maternal and child health, lactation, nutrition assessment and nutrition education if they will provide nutrition or breastfeeding counseling OR Home Economist (with an emphasis in nutrition): A graduate of a four-year Bachelor’s degree program in Home Economics with at least 20 semester hour credits in food and nutrition.
The Home Economist may act as a Certifying Health Professional only under the supervision of a Registered Dietitian, Nutritionist, or Registered Nurse.
Performs Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) nutrition services duties with integrated Case Management services at the Macon County Health Department.
Must establish and maintain positive relationships with participants, doctors, the public and other professional personnel.
Must work with diverse community groups.
Must have a dependable vehicle for use during work hours, valid Illinois Driver’s License, and appropriate auto insurance.
Must be physically able to assist with weights and measurements of adults and children many times per day.
Must be able to carry, pull, and manage a minimum of 30 pounds of equipment daily.
Salary: $49,600
